A couple of InFocus smartphones are exclusive to Indian retailer Snapdeal. But the company has now shown willingness to expand its horizon a little bit by bringing a new handset, the InFocus M810 to Amazon India. The handset is yet again an exclusive, but InFocus will look to cover a wider range of customers with this new launch. The device is made using "hand-crafted matte metal", which adds to the overall aesthetic appeal.
Unlike the recently launched budget priced InFocus M2, this one is a mid-tier handset and is priced at Rs 14,999, with sufficient hardware specifications to match the pricing. Customers can get the handset from July 15 onwards, with no registration required from what we can tell now.
Sachin Thapar, Country Head, InFocus India said, "The premium device aesthetics of the M810 delight and enchant like nothing else in the market. The phone is the result of a relentless pursuit of design and visual excellence. Each facet of this marvel is comparable only to products that belong to the highest echelons of luxury. The gleaming glass case immediately reminds you of the chrome finish that the most high-end cars sport and the matte metallic portion is an instant throwback to the dials of some of the most exclusive time-pieces in the world."
Hardware specifications of the InFocus M810:
· 5.5-inch Full HD display
· 6.99mm thickness
· Quad core Snapdragon 801 processor
· 13MP rear camera
· 5MP front camera
· 2GB RAM
· 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 64GB)
· Android 5.0 Lollipop
The handset is sold in a solitary gold color variant, so there aren't a lot of choices to pick from. Amazon hasn't specified as to when exactly the handset will go on sale this Wednesday, but we're guessing it will be a standard 2PM launch like we've seen in the past.
