Lava launched the Pixel V2 at a price point of Rs 10,750





After launching Lava Pixel V1 smartphone in July this year, the domestic handset maker has now rolled out its refreshed variant- the Pixel V2 at a price point of Rs 10,750, which is comparative lower than its predecessor that was available for Rs 11,349.

The USP of this smartphone is its 13MP rear camera that comes with dual LED flash. As per Lava, the camera comes with a blue glass filter that cuts out infrared light for better colours in outdoor shots. And for selfie freaks it houses an 8MP front camera, which has its own flash. This handset also has a panorama selfie mode, which might fascinate the users.

Endorsing the camera capabilities of Lava Pixel V2, fashion photographer Subi Samuel, who was also present at the launch event, said, "I use this device for my photography on the go and am fully satisfied with it. I am sure consumers will have the same experience."

Talking about the specifications, Lava Pixel V2 includes a 64-bit octa-core processor from the MediaTek 6735 family and 2GB DDR3 RAM. The 5-inch display is just 720x1280, which is a bit low-end as compared to the current standards. On the storage from, the Pixel V2 comes with 16GB of storage along with the option for expandable storage via a micro SD card. The Pixel V2 is powered by a 2,500mAh non-removable Li Polymer battery.
