Here's why you should not upgrade your device to iOS 9 just now

Many iPhone users have complained of crashes and even loss of data while trying to install the new iOS 9.

Earlier this month, Apple launched the iOS 9 along with the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The iOS 9 has been made available in many a countries. The new operating system claims to bring a host of improvement to the platform including more proactive Siri, dedicated News app, and better multitasking among others. Most importantly, Apple iOS 9 is said to be compatible with older Apple hardware and thus can be compatible with older devices including iPhone 4s and iPad 2.

Naturally, there is a lot of enthusiasm among iPhone and iPad users to get their hands on the latest OS. However, we urge you to sit back for a while as many Apple users have lost their precious data while attempting to get the new OS and many who were successful in doing that are now complaining of crashes.

While it was unclear how extensive the problem was, some Apple customers reported having trouble updating their mobile devices to iOS 9 after the release of the new mobile operating system on Wednesday.

On Twitter, a number of users reported that updates would fail after several minutes, requiring them to start the process over. On the other hand, many could not even got the option to upgrade at all. Users got this message when they tried to install the latest version of the operating system for iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch.

The problem seemed to affect only those trying to update devices over the air, as people updating from iTunes were seemingly unaffected.

As per some tech analysts, this is likely caused by overloaded servers that were flooded when too many people tried to download iOS 9 simultaneously.
